Pawna Lake & Varasgaon Lake

Revisiting these old pictures has brought back the old memories of our family visit to these serene places close to Pune, Pawna Lake and Varasgaon Lake.
Pawna Lake is an artificial lake formed by a dam built across  the Pawna River, near Lonavala.

 Varasgaon Lake which supplies water to city of Pune, is formed by Varasgaon Dam built over river Mose.

The Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco, USA

One of the Modern Wonders of the World, The Golden Gate Bridge, is 75 years old suspension bridge   and spans the Golden Gate, the opening of  San Francisco Bay into  Pacific Ocean. The Bridge links city of San Francisco to Marin County in the North.
